It's Date Night!!!
Every Couple Needs A Night Out Together

There's not much better a feeling than to have that weekly time to just focus on YOU as a couple. It's such a refreshing, exciting time to just be together to talk, dream, and reminisce. If you haven't had a Date Night in a while or just need some new ideas, this article is for you!
We're so blessed to be surrounded by beautiful scenery here on the Space Coast. Date nights can be really elaborate or just simply taking in the pleasures of the nature we get to enjoy here. Here are some ideas:
- Take a walk on the beach-We have 72 miles of beautiful beaches here in Brevard County! We also have most of the quietest beaches in all of FL. Even with all the growth we've encountered since 2020, the beaches are still wide open. Enjoying a nice stroll with your honey just listening to the ocean, feeling the sand with each step, or taking a few moments to sit and watch the sunrise or moonrise is one of the Space Coasts greatest pleasures.
- Head over to Melbourne Beach to one of the great take out restaurants (Nautical Cafe, Chefs Corner in Melbourne Beach Market). Grab a meal and walk over to the beach park to enjoy at one of the pavilion picnic tables. Bring a candle and your Bluetooth speaker for a romantic early evening meal in this fabulous park right on the beach. After dinner and clean up, enjoy swinging on the wooden bench swings as the sun sets behind you and the nice breeze relaxes you. Such a nice way to spend the evening.
- The Banana and Indian Rivers are so lovely to enjoy time together by. Squid Lips (www.squidlipsgrill.com) in Cocoa Beach (on the Banana) and in Melbourne (on the Indian) are great restaurants with casual faire and outdoor seating on the rivers to enjoy a quiet evening together. Also, River Rocks (www.riverrocksrestaurant.com) on the Indian River is a nice quiet spot for after dinner drinks by their outdoor fire pits. All of these locations have great music over the weekends and sometimes during the week.
So now you have no excuse to not carve out some time to spend with your special someone each and every week. I can tell you from experience, weekly dates nights are essential to keeping focus on each other. I hope you make the decision this week to make Date Night a regular habit. Enjoy!!
